1. What is being sold?

CVwerk offers CVwerk Premium – a one-time payment of €5.99 (incl. VAT, in euros) that unlocks the PDF export of your CV (all templates, without watermark) as well as other premium features. This is digital content that is provided immediately after purchase. The payment is processed through our payment service provider and seller (Merchant of Record) Freemius (Freemius, Inc.).

2. Right of withdrawal

Consumers have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen (14) days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day the contract is concluded.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (CVwerk, [email protected]) of your decision by means of a clear statement (e.g. by email). To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient that you send your notification before the period expires.

3. Early expiry of the right of withdrawal

For contracts concerning the supply of digital content not delivered on a physical medium, the right of withdrawal expires if you have expressly agreed that performance of the contract should begin before the withdrawal period expires, and you have confirmed your knowledge that by giving this consent you lose your right of withdrawal once performance begins. We obtain this consent expressly during the payment process (checkout). Once performance begins – that is, upon unlocking or downloading the PDF – the right of withdrawal expires and a refund is excluded. Legal basis: Section 356 (5) of the German Civil Code (BGB) as well as Art. 16 lit. m of the EU Consumer Rights Directive (Directive 2011/83/EU).

4. Refunds (Refund Policy)

CVwerk Premium is digital content that is provided immediately after purchase. Since you expressly consent to immediate performance during the payment process, withdrawal after the feature has been unlocked or after the download is excluded by law (see point 3). There is therefore no general entitlement to a refund after a successful PDF download.

As a gesture of goodwill, we will nevertheless refund the purchase price if one of the following cases applies:

• The premium feature was not unlocked despite a successful payment.
• The PDF export does not work due to a technical error on our side and cannot be resolved.
• You were accidentally charged twice or charged incorrectly.

Please contact us within 14 days of purchase at [email protected] and provide your order or payment reference. Each case is reviewed individually.

• Approved refunds are processed via Freemius to the payment method originally used (usually 5–10 business days).
• Since this is a one-time payment, there is no subscription and therefore nothing to cancel.
