No one expects years of work experience for an internship. What matters is that your CV fits the role advertised and shows your motivation. Put your school or academic background front and centre and highlight subjects, projects or courses that relate to the area of the internship.
Even seemingly small experiences count: previous placements, part-time jobs, volunteering or your own projects show that you are committed and willing to learn. Make sure the CV has no gaps and a clear layout, and tailor it to each internship individually.
