In warehousing and logistics, employers look above all at your experience with goods-in, picking and dispatch, as well as your knowledge of common systems. State which warehouse management and scanner systems you have used and whether you hold a valid forklift licence.
Reliability, physical stamina and accuracy are decisive in this field. Show that you keep stock records carefully, handle deliveries on time and work dependably even on shifts. Experience with stocktakes or improving warehouse processes is a clear plus.

Very important. A valid forklift licence is a requirement for many warehouse roles and should be clearly visible in your CV, along with any other relevant tickets.
Present your tasks along the flow of goods: goods-in, put-away, picking, packing and dispatch. Knowledge of warehouse management systems and SAP is especially sought after.
Not always. Many warehouse roles are open to semi-skilled and unskilled staff as well as career changers. A logistics qualification is, however, an advantage.
